This September, our team will be cycling 1100 miles from Land’s End (Cornwall) to St. John O’Groats (Scotland) in 10 days for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Timed to coincide with the Macmillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning – we want to raise over £100,000 for the UCH Macmillan Cancer Centre in London – the new, purpose-built facility which will redefine cancer care.
Joining them will be clients, supporters and family members – each dedicated to helping the charity change the lives of millions of people living with cancer every day.
Timed to coincide with Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning on Friday 28th 2012, we hope to raise a huge amount of money for the charity, and are offering a host of sponsorship and involvement opportunities for both companies and individuals throughout the trip.
We are delighted that several companies have already pledged their support, and over the coming months we will be encouraging all our clients, prospects and partners to become involved.
There are over 200 kinds of cancer. Studies estimate that one in three people will develop the disease in their lifetime. And it directly or indirectly impacts the lives of millions of people every year. The work of organisations like Macmillan is absolutely crucial. We are dedicating this challenge to the 2 million people who are living with cancer, the 850 people who are diagnosed with cancer and to the memory of the 425 people who lose their battle to the disease, every day, in the United Kingdom.
