Novo Altum has been working closely with the Manx Breast Cancer Support Group in their efforts to raise funds for local breast cancer care on the Isle of Man.
The charity has raised over £1.6 million since 2013, most of which has been used to build a new Breast Unit at Noble’s Hospital. Chairperson Julie Stokes and her team are working tirelessly to raise additional funds for specialised equipment which will allow patients to receive treatment on-island, eliminating the need to commute to the UK. Another item on their agenda is to acquire a Digital Breast Tomosynthesis, which catches up to 40% more cancers and will reduce false positives by 15%.
To help the charity reach their ambitions, the Novo Altum Foundation has offered to fund their latest initiative – Christmas Charity CD featuring X Factor contestant, Simon Lynch.
